Homemade Vegan Tartar Sauce

Homemade Vegan Tartar Sauce
When we eat our favorite comfort foods, we love to have delish dips to go along with it from time to time. When I think of any dish for dipping, I love to have tartar sauce but its not necessarily a vegan dip. This recipe shows how to make a perfect vegan tartar sauce to go along side that perfect main dish. It's quick, easy, and will have your family & friends asking for more. Enjoy!

Homemade Vegan Tartar Sauce
-1 cup vegan mayonnaise (I used Homemade, recipe on Blog)
-2 small baby kosher dill pickles & 1 Tablespoon pickle juice
-1 Tablespoon parsley, fresh or dried
-1 Tablespoon capers
-1/4 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
-1/8 teaspoon or Pinch salt, to taste
-Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Place all the ingredients in a food processor fitted with a steel blade.

Vegan Tartar Sauce Ingredients
Pulse several times until the pickles are finely chopped and all the ingredients are well mixed. You can chop the sauce coarsely or puree to a thin tartar, it all depends on your taste.

Once you have mixed you tartar sauce up, place in the fridge to chill and meld the flavors together before serving. Serve along side your favorite main dishes and keep chilled in your fridge...if it lasts! Enjoy!
