It will make you forget you are enjoying something healthy and give you a smoothie to look forward to when you roll out of bed in the AM. Enjoy!

Amazing Vegan Antioxidant Protein Smoothie

Ingredients

-1/2 cup organic old fashion rolled oats
-1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-1 teaspoon vegan sugar (optional depending on sweetness of berries)
-1 Tablespoon Ground Flax Seeds
-2 cup vegan milk (I used half almond milk/half coconut milk)
-1/2 cup ice cubes, more if you like it frothier
-1 cup quartered strawberries, fresh or frozen
-1/2 fresh blueberries
-1 serving sized scoop vegan protein powder

Directions

My Favorite Protein Powder
(Use yours in this Recipe) \
In a coffee grounder, grind down your flax seeds to a fine ground. I usually grind a good amount and store any leftovers in a marked plastic bag. Place it in the freezer until you need to use it again.

In a blender combine your oats and blend until ground to desired texture.

Mix to combine all the ingredients until the ice has been broken all down and the mixture is frothy.

Ready to Serve Smoothie
Taste your mixture and see how it tastes. If you want it more sweet, add more your vegan sugar of choice. You can also add more ice for a thicker and frostier smoothie. When the drink is done, serve in your favorite glass or take along in a to-go mug/thermos. This recipe can be made your way and changed up to fit your taste, different berries and/or flavorings. Enjoy!
